Day 192 | Risk it to get the Biscuit

Lucky for me I get to have a catch up with my family each Sunday, it’s a tradition we’ve had for years. The chance to sit and talk is golden and we thought after 6months of hard work and setting up the new office it was about time for a ‘work family’ dinner to say thank you.

Simone and I knew what we were up for with starting a new business, we had done it once before and understood the challenges. But for Steven and Annouka (+ Tim!) it was a risk. A risk to trust that the vision would work, a risk to follow a model that was untested in the market and the biggest risk of all.... to see if they could cope with all the amazing dad jokes I regularly throw around.

We all come across some below-average humans along the way but when you find some genuinely great ones you do what you can to keep them in your tribe. We appreciate you guys more than you realise and will continue to be grateful you took a chance on us.

Now let’s drink, eat pizza, play Cards Against Humanity and be that loud group in the corner having the most fun possible on a Thursday night.
