Day 120 | Picnics, Ping-Pong and Puppydogs

For all of last year, the school holidays weren’t different to any other time of year. I wasn’t home heaps and lost a bit of time with the family. Don’t get me wrong, I made the choice to work that way but with the new Agency we wanted it to be a bit different this time round. And on this last day of term 1 school hols for us, it shows we’ve made the right call.

These holidays have been seriously awesome. I get family visits in the office (Ella dog included) and when I’m working late there’s picnics on the office floor, table tennis games to break up the paperwork and even ABC Kids on the TV (how good is that new show ’Bluey’!).

We aren’t here to take over the world, we aren’t here to make Millions or be the largest real estate office in town. We are here to be successful on our terms, to have balance and enjoy what’s going on in our lives while creating a different choice in the market. That’s all. Nothing groundbreaking. We just want to be the ‘Specialist’ in our field.

I’m adding a clause to our office policy manual that says we must have visits from our loved ones frequently, or official warnings will be given out.
