About 2 weeks ago, a few people mentioned that one of our billboards had been vandalised again. I say again, because we’ve had a few dramas with sticks/rocks being thrown through them and someone even took to one with a Stanley knife (we know who that was). I hoped instead for funny moustaches and round glasses in permanent marker but that wasn’t to be.

Simone headed out to take a look and grab a couple of photos so I could send them off to the media company that we lease them from and get replacements ordered. Then my phone goes and a text reads ‘you need to ring me’ followed by 6 laughing emojis.

Now if we cast our minds back to 3 years ago when this agency began, we were constantly referred to as the fancy new coffee shop in the fourways. The ‘Hudson’ in the title really threw everyone off and it became an in-joke that we heard a lot. It’s now at a point where I would say 90% of people know we are in the real estate game.

Someone, with maybe a little too much time on their hands has not only referenced the joke, but gone and made a perfectly scaled coffee sticker to put in my hands on the billboard. They’ve measured, installed and gone to a fair bit of effort to prank us, and all under the cover of darkness. The big question is who….

So if you know who it might be then please let us know. I have something to give them for Christmas for all their hard work. It’s a $100 Hudsons coffee voucher, cause we’re funny like that.
