I still can’t believe it. And that’s without all the money that went straight to Love Your Sister through merchandise sales, ongoing donations and one off cash injections. What an amazing 24hours. We partied, we laughed, we celebrated, we told Cancer where to go.
There’s so many people to thank but I’m going to save that post for when I can really put my heart into it. I’m not going to just throw that together, they deserve more than that. A lot more. You’re all wonderful, from the sponsors to the people that rocked up and put your hands in your pockets.
The folks in this photo are the best people you will find (cass was missing from the pic!). Dane, Annouka and Cass... you’re phenomenal. There’s no way it happened without you. And we all know what I think about Simone. Her patience is unrivalled. Thank you for being understanding with me while I fought to be a control freak and have everything perfect.
I love being able to do this and while the last 24hours was a big success, I always manage to be a little disappointed at the end. Maybe it’s cause I’m a bit exhausted, or maybe it’s because I think we could’ve done more.
We’re tired, a little emotional, but most of all we are super grateful for all of you that supported this awesome money raising quest. I haven’t yet taken the time to be proud of what we’ve done but I’m sure when I sit down and think about it, I’ll be stoked.
